The 5th annual party, held April 28, 2012 at the Mary’s River Grange, was a huge success. This year we offered a workshop in the afternoon to teach 4-5 difficult dances. Almost 50 people showed up and the workshop was lots of fun!

That evening over 60 folks danced til after midnight. We had dancers from Seattle, Eugene, Salem, Portland, Grants Pass, Albany and of course Corvallis.

Before the party, a few dancers got together for a couple of evenings and ‘practiced’ the dances they were going to teach and tried to jog the moth-balled memories for those old time favorite dances (wine and fire-ball whiskey helped). Here are a few pictures from those evenings.

We missed two key individuals at the party due to injuries that kept them off the dance floor. We wish them a speedy recovery. – Ken and Taffy
